A new week and a new weekly top-ten best-sellers chart is up at Sonic Boom Records! This week has a repeat champion at the top of the charts with the new collaboration between DANGER MOUSE & BLACK THOUGHT once again solidly outselling all others with their LP Cheat Codes. The prolific producer teaming up with the frontman of The Roots have made an absolutely top tier straight-up rap record, definitely give a listen.

Next up at number two is the final record from the much-loved Japanese psych-rock combo KIKAGAKU MOYO. They have announced they are calling it quits, but not before blessing us with Kumoyo Island. This new LP is up to the high standards of previous outings, even pushing further into uncharted sounds and new genres here. This band will be much missed, but are going out on a high note.

We also FINALLY have vinyl copies of the Mr Morale & The Big Steppers, the 2022 project of KENDRICK LAMAR. The record has managed a number four placement in this week’s charts. This new set of tunes finds the rapper deep in his self examining mode with plenty of his characteristic lyrical prowess. Another winner from one of the best to do it.
