It’s a new week with a new Sonic Boom weekly top-ten best-sellers! Though most titles are returning from last week, we do have a reshuffling with a new number-one! Local faves ODESZA have jolted to number one this week with their latest full-length The Last Goodbye. The Seattle based electronic duo’s latest LP is packed with guests including legendary soul singer Bettye LaVette. Fittingly, King County officially celebrated it’s inaugural ODESZA DAY this week!

Our highest charting new release this week is of course from BEYONCE with her latest album Renaissance. Though only charting at number five, bear in mind this is a CD only release so far, and that is pretty impressive for 2022. Vinyl should be arriving sometime this September, we’ll of course keep you all posted.

We’re also thrilled to see one of our recent STAFF PICKS charting this week! It is Get On The Otherside by BOBBY OROZA at number eight. The neo-soul crooner has been in heavy rotation at the shop. In our profile of the record, Kay calls it “Perfect for a nighttime drive in warm weather.” Find out if you agree.
