Our fresh weekly top-ten best-seller chart includes our bonus RSD drop for 2022. And we have one of those new Record Store Day exclusives at number one! PEARL JAM is again at the top of the charts with the limited release of Live On Two Legs. The legendary live record was first released way back in 1998, and vinyl copies have been immensely scarce in the decades since. We still have copies but supplies are limited! (Call in if you want to check stock)
This week also sees a major new release hanging with the hot Record Store Day titles near the top of the charts. A Light for Attracting Attention, the debut LP from THE SMILE, is at a respectable number three. For those out of the loop: The Smile is the new band from Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead along with Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner. The record sounds quite inspired for a side-project, highly recommended.
And as with every such event, we must note that a ton of the titles in this week’s chars are limited RSD exclusives which may be sold out, or near selling out. For example, at number four we have the RSD exclusive and excellent MF Doom side-project VIKTOR VAUGHN record Vaudeville Villain. We do still have copies as of early this week but don’t expect them to last long! Swing by to check out our RSD leftovers for other such goodies. When they are gone, they are GONE!
