We’ve got another week’s best-sellers tabulated and posted! BILLIE EILISH maintains her unrelenting grip on the top slot, with Happier Than Ever scoring a third consecutive number-one placement in our top ten despite strong weeks from Pearl Jam’s No Code and Plantasia! Billie’s second full-length has been a universal chart topper, and nationally speaking had the second best week of vinyl sales of any record of “the second vinyl era”. (Yeah, T. Swift had the best)
Also we’ve got some brand new local talent making their debut in the Sonic Boom charts this week! LAMARR FAMILY VALUES, a newish Seattle hip-hop trio, landed their No Seasons full length at number four this week. All the more impressive that so far No Seasons is a CD only release! Sounds like it just might be primed to be another local breakout hit.
And the honor of highest charting new music this week goes to JUNGLE with their latest LP Loving In Stereo charting at number five. The London based dance music production duo last blessed us with new sounds back in 2018, and the new one picks up where they left off with plenty of disco-inflected tracks ready to fill a dance-floor. Here’s hoping circumstances allow for dance-floor filling soon!
