Another week is in the books and another weekly best-seller chart is up! We’ve got a new number one again! We’re happy to have a local group at #1 with Seattle’s Service Animal and their new record All The Wrong Defenses at the top. The indie-rock quintet recently graced our stage for a Thursday night in-store AND shared a little about their formative influences over on our blog. Give them a listen!

Also crashing our top-ten this week is Moon Duo’s latest full-length Stars Are The Light. Any new Moon Duo record is going to end up in heavy rotation at our shop, but its exciting to hear the group experimenting around the edges of their pulsating synth-psych sound. As always, great sounds to get lost in.

Also, its time we show some love to the Highwomen who’ve been hanging around the bottom of our top-ten for weeks now. The quartet of country-singing women (featuring Seattle favorite Brandi Carlile) paid a little homage to the classic country super-group the Highwaymen with their moniker, and there in also lies the premise of the group.
