Charts Recap: May 13th - 19th, 2019

We have some major shake ups in our charts this week! The National returns to the top of our charts with their latest dispatch, I Am Easy To Find. The new record find them as refined and inventive as ever but with a fresh embrace of collaboration, there are plenty of guests throughout. I’m sure it will remain easy to find in our charts week after week.

Also returning after an all too long absence is one of the indie-rock era’s finest wordsmiths, David Berman of the late great Silver Jews. His new vehicle is Purple Mountains and they pulled into our number two spot with their debut EP All My Happiness Is Gone. The new single is excellent, even catchy! Check it out.

And we always love when something from the extreme ends of our stock cross into top seller territory! This week’s blip is the extreme and extremely exhilarating Full Of Hell who squeaks in at number 9 with Weeping Choir. If you only plan on picking up one grindcore record this year, this one is a fine candidate.
