Charts Recap: April 8th - 14th, 2019

We’ve got our post-RSD charts tabulated and it’s a totally RSD top-ten in the vinyl department! Let’s see what limited goodies really had y’all out here waiting in line at obscenely early hours. It’s those rarities from the all-time-favorite material artists that drive this thing, and LOCAL LEGENDS Pearl Jam top the charts after this round! (Honestly, it’s even cool that it’s a live set from Easy Street, they’re kind of our uncle store, and RSD is all about the community!)

The Grateful Dead too contributed a fabulous live recording to the RSD fodder with their The Warfield, San Francisco, CA 10/9/80 & 10/10/80. This is the gentle side of The Dead with two acoustic set from a prime era for such live output. Rare for RSD releases to see CD editions simultaneously released, but this topped that chart while holding number 5 in vinyl too! I got you something close on video.

Hope you all got enough of your wantlist to make for another fulfilling Record Store Day! Sadly many LPs in this list are sold-out now, but that is part of the fun after all! But don’t give up hope and check back over the next few weeks. We’re always surprised what comes back to us that was supposedly gone. Happy digging!
