We’ve got another week’s worth of best-seller numbers tabulated! It’s hardly March madness, as much of our top-tens remain composed of familiar record covers. Though we do have a new number one LP! Karen O & Danger Mouse have a new collaborative full-length called Lux Prima. The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s frontwoman gets to play her voice off some new sounds from the prolific producer. These two fellow-travellers have made a real genre spanner here.
Y’all have been giving some love to the late great Tones Van Zandt too. Fat Possum’s excellent new rarities collection Sky Blue is holding strong in both charts, pulling in at number 3 on bothc CD and LP! It’s great to have new tracks to dig into by such an obsession inducing songwriter.
Not new to these charts, but noteworthy that both the Better Oblivion Community Center and Sharon Van Etten records are back in stock!
