We’re in the heart of holiday shopping season and it is certainly reflected in our latest best-seller charts! A Charlie Brown Christmas holds on for a second week at number one. The seasonal classic from the Vince Guaraldi Trio will undoubtedly stay one of our hottest sellers while supplies last. We of course have a wide assortment of x-mas sounds on vinyl and CD for our customers, but year after year this is deservedly one of our most popular.

The lone new-arrival in our charts this week is Beck’s latest full-length Hyperspace at number 6. This go around he’s collaborating with none other than Pharrell Williams across the record. The results are melancholic and futuristic. A nice new synth heavy twist in his wildly varied catalog.

The rest of our top-ten is filled out by records that could roundly be categorized as “record of the year” material. Naturally the end of the year and gift-giving season is a time to reflect on what’s been good throughout the year and try to pass it along.
