Charts Recap: October 28th - November 3rd, 2019

Our first best-seller charts of November are here and we’ve got locals at number one! Great Grandpa’s first-rate new full-length Four Of Arrows is our best-seller this round. We were thrilled to host a stripped down performance from a redux version of the band this past week. If you aren’t yet familiar, you need to hear this record right away, we recently added to our staff picks list. A new generation’s entry into the Seattle canon of great indie-rock records.

A late arrival of Highwomen vinyl pushed this Brandi Carlile featuring country supergroup all the way back up to number 2 on our charts! This record is still making waves the usually stodgy world of mainstream country months after initial release. Staying power is the mark of quality.

And new to the charts this week is the latest from nuevo soul singer Michael Kiwanuka. Simply titled Kiwanuka, the record is getting rave reviews, including garnering 5 stars from NME. He’s truly found his own sound while still referencing some most excellent roots. Give a listen.
