New best-seller charts are up! Our returning champions this week are Big Thief with Two Hands back in the top spot after slipping to number two last week. Deservedly so too, its an immensely replayable record that will have some staying power for much time to come. Speaking of staying power, much respect to Lizzo, DIIV, and Tyler the Creator who’ve all spent a solid month in our charts!

As far as new action in the chart, Black Belt Eagle Scout’s latest record At the Party with My Brown Friends is all the way back up to number two. Many thanks to all that came out for the in-store performance this past week! And if you didn’t you should still be checking this out, the record has been earning rave reviews including 4 stars from The Guardian who compare it favorably to Beach House and Sharon Van Etten!

And our charts are filled out by a trio of heady and heavy records released last Friday! (Get your review fix here!) Swans, Sunn O)), and Desert Sessions (Josh Homme and whoever shows up) all released really excellent records demanding our attention on one day. All recommended as they are all worthy additions to sturdy discographies.
