Our top sellers are in for the final full week of August, 2018. Nothing has changed at the top as Death Cab For Cutie is firmly ensconced in the number one spot. Mitski and Thee Oh Sees had solid second weeks as well.
Leagues Beneath, the new EP from Sleep is the strongest new comer this go around. From the Third-Man label, we got a few of the very limited deep blue vinyl, but those are long gone now! This Sleep reboot has been a treat for the ears, sounding just as strong as before they left.
Interpol also has a new one appearing in both charts, and they're still sounding great after all these years, back again with their strongest record in a while!
Shout-outs also to Olafur Arnalds and Julee Cruise, we love when the oddball records sneak into our top-tens! The new Olafur record, re:member, in particular is lovely. If you've manged not to hear his beautiful and hushed style of modern composition yet, you should make it a point.
