Staff Picks: M.O.S.S. - Harmony 420
For fans of: blowing out the speakers
What they say: Produced crunchy and recorded with an exquisite looseness, Harmony 420 is a captivating sensory experience. It’s sonically uniform but stylistically variegated, calling back to late-‘80s/early-‘90s American indie like Galaxie 500 on the basement-based lyserg-isms of highlight “Eyes Turn Red” or The Breeders on the call-and-response burn of “On Fire.” - WASH Magazine
What Evan says: M.O.S.S.’s Harmony 420 EP (on Den Tapes) has been on heavy rotation since K showed me them a couple weeks ago. It balances driving fuzz and sweet riding melodies, making it the perfect play for any occasion. I like to listen to this tape while I’m cooking dinner. Deet is my favorite track!
