It’s a new week with a new weekly top-ten best-seller chart for Sonic Boom! We ring in the month of September with a cool new number-one record as well. SILK SONIC is way up from last week’s chart position of nine, with An Evening With… stealing the top spot. This retro soul collaboration between Anderson.Paak and Bruno Mars has been ruling the radio all year, but physical copies are now available, and the sounds suite the LP format!

We have to dip down to number six to see this week’s only new release to chart. STEREOLAB is back with the Pulse of the Early Brain EP. This is the fifth edition of the group’s “Switched On” series that collects together the band’s amazing non album recordings. This one features cuts from across their years, and straddles a wide range of styles and sounds. We expect no less.

Also we have the essential Speaking In Tongues by the TALKING HEADS sneaking back into our charts this week. It’s nice to have this classic back in print. This much loved record was the fifth record by the group and originally released back in 1983. It featured their biggest hit with “Burning Down The House.”
