We got a new top-ten best-seller chart at Sonic Boom. This week sees a new best-seller from an old favorite. BUILT TO SPILL is back with brand new music and that new LP When The Wind Forgets Your Name is our number one record! This is Doug Martsch and company’s first proper record for the legendary Sub Pop label and finds the band in fine form. It’s been a while but Martsch’s style and songwriting are unfaded.

We’ve got a few other new records in our charts this week too! At number five we’ve got the self-titled debut full-length record from THEE SACRED SOULS. The California group are working with classic retro influences making a impeccable sounding soul music LP for 2022. This thing is played and produced beautifully, check it out.

And we’ve got Pre Pleasure by indie singer songwriter JULIA JACKLIN charting for the first time down at number eight. This is the Aussie artist’s follow up to the 2019 breakthrough record Crushing. The record has been getting killer reviews across the board with some calling it her best yet.
