We’ve got our Valentine’s Week top-ten best-seller chart up! BIG THIEF received the most love for the second straight week with their new record Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You fending off some hot new releases to stay number one. The record is the band’s fifth and quite possibly their finest achievement yet. It shows a range and depth that the band has always hinted towards. Early candidate for record of ‘22.

This week also saw the much anticipated release of Once Twice Melody by BEACH HOUSE. It has landed at number two in our charts this week. The latest record is the first the duo has self-produced and the results are stellar. The new record is a bit on the epic side as well, being their longest and most expansive. It works well for the band which has always excelled in the creation of immersive sounds.

And at number three is another new record and a sequel to a much loved 2020 collaboration Texas Sun. KHRUANGBIN and LEON BRIDGES are back together and have released their second collaborative EP, this one titled Texas Moon. As the title implies the results are just a touch more subdued and nocturnal, but this combo’s talents are well suited to the mood. If you loved the first in the series, this one rounds out the experience.
