A new week means a new weekly top-ten best-seller chart at Sonic Boom! We’ve got some new action in the charts this week, but our number-one has remained unchanged and unchallenged for a month straight now. It is from none other than TAYLOR SWIFT with her latest LP Midnights. Supposedly this LP has set the recent record for vinyl sales in a day with over half a million! (source needed 🤓)

We’ve also got 90s UK shoegaze heroes RIDE back in our charts this week, placing two reissues! Their indisputable classic Nowhere is back in print and at number two, and the Four EPs collection managed number eight. (Going Blank Again is here too, uncharting but underrated!) Don’t sleep on these, past reissues sold out fast.

And we’ve got some totally new faces in the chart at number four. Not Tight by DOMI & JD BECK is the record, and it is the debut from the super youthful keyboard and drum duo. This is some next gen out-there jazz toying with influences ranged from funky fusion to extreme electronic. This is what we love to see, exciting sounds from new voices!
