It’s a new week and that means a new top-ten best-sellers chart up at Sonic Boom! The number-one record this week is no surprise. It’s from TAYLOR SWIFT with her smash hit new LP Midnights. This one has been setting records in the streaming world, and thanks to physical copies actually showing up on time the hype has hit record stores as well! This one may be a chart dominator for the remainder of 2022.

It’s been a big week for new music all around with a few other high profile records appearing in the top-ten this week. The ARCTIC MONKEYS are also back with The Car charting at number two. It is the band’s first record in about four years. The reviews have been stellar as the band continues to broaden their sound while keeping their magic.

And at number four we’ve got Stumpwork, the second record from UK combo DRY CLEANING. The follow up to last year’s New Long Leg sees the band’s sound growing and maturing, blurring many genre lines in the process without sacrificing the idiosyncratic charm of that debut. Check it out!
