We’ve got a new top-ten chart up! The new Phoebe Bridgers made a big bounce from number ten to number one! Punisher is the second solo record of the long time shop favorite and this week’s runaway best-seller. The record builds on all that’s good about her debut Stranger In The Alps while expanding on the sound. She is truly becoming one of the most essential songwriters of her generation.

Elsewhere in our top-ten our favorite Texan psych-funk ensemble Khruangbin has a fresh record out in the world too. Do these guys keep getting better? We’ve gotta say both our top two artists in this weeks top-ten have to be among the most frequently spun in our shop. Mordechai definitely merits many listens.

At number three this week we have The Chicks new record Gaslighter. In case you missed it, The Chicks are the rechristened D*xie Chicks, trying to get on the right side of history. Some are calling the latest record a near return to their prime hit-making form. It’s gotta be one of the most compelling pop country records we’ve heard in a minute.
