New best-seller charts are up! Our top two are swapped from last week’s positions with Ultra Mono from IDLES barely inching past Folklore from TAYLOR SWIFT as our weekly best-seller. Beyond our little shop, Ultra Mono actually scored a national number-one in the bands’ native land as well, topping the UK record charts last week. Its the fastest selling vinyl release of the year so far across the pond! Rare these days to see a national chart topper with such an aggressive sound, we like it!

The top brand new release in our top-ten was the recently reissued 1987 classic from PRINCE, Sign O The Times at number three. We all know how prolific Prince was, but the amount of unheard material they dug up for this one is impressive. Many editions available, get the full collection of lost material or just the basics. The vaults are open, and we hope even more is in the pipeline.

Also SYLVAN ESSO’s Free Love is making its debut in our charts at number seven this week after a late arrival to the shop. This is the first new music from the duo since 2017, and their spare intimate synth-pop sound is intact with a new set of songs reacting to our weird world. Worth the wait.
